Parking and transport Please park at Hei Marae on Manoeka Road, Te Puke by 4am where a bus will transport you to the new carpark in time for the first karakia. Should you wish to leave the event immediately after the proceedings, you are welcome to park in the old carpark at the Regional Park. Please note traffic management will be in place and one lane may be closed.If you do choose to park onsite there will be a short walk between the old and new carparks. As it will be dark at this time of the day, we encourage you to take care and use your mobile phone light to guide the way. A small bus will also be available to transport anyone who requires it between the carparks.However, we strongly encourage you to park at Hei Marae to catch the bus to the park to ensure a smooth journey.WeatherUnless there is a red weather warning issued by Met Service, the event will go ahead rain or shine. Please ensure you bring suitable clothing and wet weather gear, including something warm.Post event celebrationYou are invited to attend a pōhiri followed by parakuihi at Hei Marae after the proceedings. |
