Reflecting on our Achievements

\\\"Reflecting\\\" We are currently reviewing our achievements over the past 6 months since commencing the establishment of Te Kapu O Waitaha operations in January 2013. This is in preparation for annual reporting to our beneficiaries.  In addition, the Board has been working hard toward ensuring our future strategies remain consistent to those priorities collated from a number of past consultations, focus groups, and reports undertaken in 2009. While there are some significant challenges in forging a strong and sustainable future, we are determined to plan for tangible outcomes by utilising our resources wisely and strengthening relationships across central, and local government including the business sectors in order to realise positive benefits for our people. We look forward to further discussions with our beneficiaries as to the short and long term initiatives we believe will achieve a strengthened asset base, training opportunities, pathways to employment, and participation in particular by our young people in the economy through education, leadership programmes, work experience, training, and job security.]]>
