The girls have come together in preparation for the BOPSS Sevens competition to be held at Blake Park on the Thursday 26th and Friday 27th of March 2015 and to make their mark in the November tournament to compete against the best in the BOP in order to join the elite secondary schools at the Condors Sevens Tournament held in Auckland. The dedication and endurance of the girls in the lead up to this tournament has been impressive. The early morning training sessions are paying off and the dedication by the players, parents and coaching staff have proven successful. The girls were joined by NZ Sevens players Alexis Tapsell and Ruby Tui who trained alongside our team. They pushed, challenged and supported the girls throughout the training session and provided the girls with an understanding of what it takes to become an elite sevens professional sportswomen of the future. Thank you Alexis and Ruby for taking time out of your busy schedules to join us, we appreciate your efforts and valued input. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate one of our amazingly talented Aryahn Clarke on her remarkable achievement for being named in the NZ Women’s Sevens Academy programme. You are an inspiration to your team, Iwi and community and we wish you all the best in your sevens campaign.]]>
