CAROL WHARE – has accepted nomination for RE-ELECTION
A grandmother of 26 mokopuna, and mother of 6 children, am a trustee for several Boards including;
- Maketu Primary School – Board of Trustees
- Hei marae committee, and ongoing support to the marae
- Chair for Grants distributions for the Waitaha Charitable Trust
- Current Trustee for Te Kapu O Waitaha. Governance training includes strategic governance, as well as investment, finance and taxation for Boards. I am pleased to be standing for re-election this year for Te Kapu O Waitaha.

JOSHUA GRANT – Has accepted nomination for RE-ELECTION
I have been on the current Board for the past three years and have accepted the nomination for re-election. Outside of trustee duties, I am also a property developer with a keen interest in investment, economies and real estate. I also actively support the education and sporting interests of tamariki attending our local school.
FRANK GRANT – Has accepted nomination for RE-ELECTION
Currently the Chair of Te Kapu O Waitaha, and Waitaha Charitable Trust, I thank those for their nomination to stand for re-election. I was born and raised on Manoeka Rd. and currently work for NZ Police – Maori Responsive Manager. While I have seen many changes over time, the one thing that has not changed is that “my heart remains here with our people”.
