The Trust seeks a Papakainga Project Manager who will be responsible for driving outcomes in support of Ahuwhenua Maori Land Trust(s) who seek to convert their whenua into residential Papakainga. This role is fixed term for a period of two years with a review for a further 12 months subject to completion of the project.
We welcome applications from people who ideally can demonstrate proficiency in end to end project management, have knowledge of Maori Land court requirements in relation to whenua Maori, have a track record of working with whanau/hapu or iwi with the drive to achieving outcomes.
We also value the relationships of applicants relative to this project, such as Local and central government agencies, funders, and other social housing agents. As we are a small team, applicants should be comfortable in self-management, and enjoys the flexibility of innovation, and flexibility.
