CELEBRATING SUCCESS

\"S.Wihapi Witehahunga Sasu Wihapi What did I study? Bachelor\’s Degree in Primary Teaching (Kakano Rua) How long did it take? 3 years Institute of Study: University of Waikato My tertiary education experience was a journey full of highs and lows. University taught me the importance of perseverance and pushing through struggles in life and in education and riding the successes when they arose. Sacrifice was another key skill I learnt having to sacrifice times with my friends, whanau, and even sports to study and reach the final goal of achieving my Bachelor’s Degree in Primary school teaching. I couldn’t have done it without the love and support of my whanau and friends that were there through it all from the beginning to the end. Now that I have graduated, I am currently working at Te Matai Te Kura ā Iwi o Tapuika in my first full time position as a teacher of the senior class. I wish to gain my full teacher’s registration over the next 2 years and in the future would like to study to get my masters. Ngā Mihi, Witehahunga Sasu Wihapi  ]]>
