th, where we rolled out the Waitaha Charitable Trust Statement of Intent for the next five years. This is by no means the end of the conversation. In fact it is only the beginning. The priorities set out in the plan took into consideration the things that people have consistently raised at prior AGM and Waitaha-Hui-A-Iwi meetings. These were made to be deliberately broad so that you have a say;
- in the detail of how those things may be given effect to
- how you want to be involved
- who should lead those things, and
- if whanau are already doing the mahi, what support is needed
We are aware that there are more than likely other things that you want included, and are confident that those matters will apply to one or more of the priorities considered in the plan.
It is important to us to ensure that EVERYONE has the freedom and space to express their views, and desires. We thank all those who participated and look forward to catching up at the next hui.
