Next year 2016, the koeke wish to hold their own ANZAC service at Hei so our tamariki mokopuna will always remember our whanau who did not return home. We need to acknowledge those who did return but are no longer with us. LOCAL SERVICES Maketu: A Dawn Service will be held at 6am, at Maketu Marae. This includes a blessing of the Rock Memorial, and a special low level flyover which will see red poppies dropped into the water. Te Puke: An Anzac parade will begin at Te Puke Memorial Hall from 10am. Before the parade begins Veterans will arrive at the hall in five vintage cars. This will be followed by lunch at Te Puke RSA at noon. ]]>
