Waitaha Strategic Plan Native Consultancy has been engaged to complete the iwi strategic plan begun in 2009. Small group discussions have taken place with iwi members and further consultation will take place at a hui-a-iwi on Sunday 8th September 2013, 10am at the Hei Marae. Te Hou Hou Development Opportunities Report S & L Consulting has been awarded the contract to carry out a scoping report on the Te Hou Hou property. They have a wealth of experience and expertise in this field. Once this report is completed it will be available from the office and on the website. Waitaha Iwi Education Project Sandra Potaka and Rianna Rameka were awarded this contract to develop an environmental scan and iwi profile in order to identify the iwi educational aspirations, interests and needs of our people.
